On a beautiful, sunny morning I made the drive from St. Pete, FL to Sarasota, Florida for the elopement of Adam and Glenda. They are not only the kindest people you could ever hope to meet, but I am also eternally grateful for their trust in my work. I have photographed their surprise proposal, engagement portraits and now their courthouse elopement ceremony.
We met at the Historic Sarasota courthouse at 10:45AM and by 11AM we were being led into a beautiful courtroom where they would say "I do". Surrounded by only the love they have for each other they exchanged vows, rings and a kiss that marked their new life as man and wife.
Glenda wore a beautiful Haltered pencil dress paired with a blusher that, combined with her red lipstick, gave off old Hollywood vibes. Although the building was erected in the late 1920s her choice of wedding attire felt very fitting. Classy, timeless and romantic are the three words that first come to mind.
Between the love in the air, the beauty of our surroundings and the happy tears, I would say this is one of the best ways to spend a Wednesday morning as a photographer.
Cheers to Adam and Glenda, may their love always run deeper than the ocean.
xx, Hali
